MLA Mangal Prabhat Lodha made a strong proposal in the Assembly on Monday, appealing for preservation of the heritage of chawls in the city by just modifications in existing Floor Space Index (FSI) rules by the government. He said that every home in chawls must have an attached toilet, and extra FSI should be awarded to them by the state government to facilitate the same.
